Find your dream job

You may be one of the many millions around the world that are either currently unemployed or are frustrated in the job you are in. But the good news is: it's possible for you to find your dream job... great income, awards, public recognition, the works!

Here are a few tips for landing the job you want:

1. Be passionate about something
Find an area you are passionate about and pursue it. It may be baking, gardening, fashion design or auditing.Statistics have shown that people who love what they do perform ten times better than those who don't. In fact, people who love what they do learn faster, achieve more and are likely to go the extra mile to get the job done. That's an attractive quality to most company Executives and potential employers.

2. Become an expert in your field
 Develop your skills in your area of specialization. Make an effort to learn as much as you can about your profession. If you can, advance your studies and get a higher qualification than the one you have now. Read books, attend professional workshops and get a successful business guru to mentor you. Knowledge is power.

3. Become a problem solver
If you can only remember one thing from this article, remember this: the most valuable professionals in any company or field are those who are able to solve problems. So, take note of all the challenges and problems that companies and prospective clients have and find ways of solving them.

4.  Mix and mingle
Networking with business executives and prospective clients is one of the best ways to get yourself noticed in the professional world. Attend business events whenever you can, join professional associations and even make use of social networking forums, such as Linked In. Many people have found amazing job opportunities this way.

5. Be relentless
Good things come to those who wait, but great things come to those who never, ever give up. Don't stop your search even when you get turned down for jobs by potential employers and clients. Knock on as many doors as you can... You never know which one will finally open for you!
